As fans of the long-running British sci-fi series prepare to meet a new Doctor -- to be played by 55-year-old Scotsman Peter Capaldi -- they can get reacquainted with previous incarnations of the character via this series marking the show's 50th anniversary. The new episode "The Eighth Doctor" spotlights Paul McGann, who played the role only once, in a 1996 TV movie.
