In the "Foyle's War, Series VII" premiere "The Eternity Ring," Foyle (Michael Kitchen) returns from the States to find MI5 has assigned him to investigate the possibility of a Russian spy network operating in London that may have infiltrated British atomic research. The assignment reunites him with Sam (Honeysuckle Weeks), now married and working for a scientist involved with the development of the atom bomb.
